What is metro ?
Rapid transit or mass rapid transit (MRT), also known as heavy rail or
metro, is a type of high-capacity public transport that is generally built
in urban areas.

Why we need metro?

The need for a metro system in Dhaka is evident in its potential to
address urban congestion while fostering sustainable development.
Beyond mere transportation infrastructure, a well-designed metro
system can become a defining feature of the city's architectural
landscape, serving as both a functional necessity and an iconic
symbol of Dhaka's modernity and progress.

The Underlying concept behind this project was to give shelter to
for the people behind Dhakas Rapidly Growing Economy.Shelter
from the urban storm much like an oasis offers shelter from the
harsh desert conditions ,the station will provide shelter from the
streets and used as a hub to connect people and embrace the
diversity them via station platform

SITE TOTAL AREA : 50000 sq. Feet This Site has a Park (SHER-Bangla Park ) in South Side and Some
Development Buildings in North Side . East and West has 100 feets of
Road going West side Connect Dhanmondi to FarmGate and Road on
East connect to Elevated Expressway .Around 5000 vehicles travel this
road every day

What is refuel station cum Food Facility ?

A refueling station cum food facility, often referred to simply as a
"combined service station," is a versatile establishment that merges the
functionalities of a traditional refueling station with those of a food
service outlet. Essentially, these facilities offer not only fuel for motor
vehicles but also a variety of food options for customers

Why we need this?

A refuel station cum food facility offers convenience for travelers by
providing both fuel for vehicles and refreshments for people in one
location. This saves time and makes journeys more efficient, catering to
the basic needs of travelers on the go.

The inspirition behind this Refuel station Project was inspired from
Buddhist Vihara architectture. Vihara is the Sanskrit word for
'dwelling' or 'house'. Viharas were used by wandering monks as
shelter, especially during the rainy season. Viharas were
transformed into seats of learning as time passe

About Site
This site is located Comilla Beside Dhaka-Chittagong Highway (NH-1) .
This Highway is the biggest and the busiest highway in Bangladesh
Longing 465 K.M in lenght and around 30000 vehicles travel this highway
Daily . This Highway is a part of AH41 (Asian Highway 4
