REVEALED BOOKS

Believe in reality of allah's guidance to mankind in the form of revealed

books Is the third article of faith. This belief is considered our right act
in Quran and iman e muffassil mentions “I believe in Allah in his angels
in his books in his prophets and day of judgment in fact everything
good or bad is decided by Allah and in life after death”. The books well
revealed on Allah's prophets Through the phenomen called revelation
which means way of communication. Revelation itself was sent by Allah
in numbers of ways. This is a gift of Allah on his apostles not because of
their intelligence labor or study but because Allah chose them as
righteous prophets. Allah says “it Is not setting for a man that Allah
should speak to him except by inspiration”
There are two types of books revealed by Allah suhf and kutb. The suhf
are smaller books revealed on most profits which is not in form of a
proper book but verses in preserved form of suhf. Allah revealed total
of 100 suhfs 10 to hazrat Adam 50 to hazrat Shith 30 to hazrat Idrees
and ten to hazrat Ibrahim. Quran mentions suhf of two prophets “suhf
of Ibrahim and Musa”.The kutb only 4 revealed on specefic prophets.
Taurat was revealed on hazrat Musa for guidance of banu Israel and it
contained a large warnings and mercy. The original book was however
changed. Zaboor was revealed on hazrat daud and Quran confirms “and
we bestowed zaboor on Daud” The injil or Bible was revealed to hazrat
Isa. The Christians failed to act upon it and they distorted it they
introduce doctrine of Trinity and redemption through crucification even
though hazrat Isa told that he was Allahs servant only. Quran confirms
about injil “and we bestowed injil upon isa” put on also speaks about
the distortion of previous books “they changed the words from their
place and forgot a good part of the message that we sent”. The lost
book of Allah was sent on his last apostle. Quran was revealed on the
holy prophet and is unchanged today and will remain like it was
revealed forever since Allah himself has promised its safety “we have
without doubt sent down the Quran and surely we will guard it”.
Human beings lead a righteous life are the servants of Allah and needed
guidance to various duties in life therefore Allah sent down all the
books as a criterion to lead a righteous life. Quran states “there is
guidance in it for those who fear Allah”. the books were revealed in
different times among different nations in different languages. this was
particularly for their best guidance and many nabies used it and
guidedpeople based on it.All the messeges contained teaching of
tauheed and made it clear on peple that they should follow prophets of
their time.It answers the questions of hell, heaven and Merritt of
reward off their services. Enable man to live a pious righteous and
successful life in both worlds and hereafter. Humans throughout history
had to retreat the divine teachings for spiritual guidance and physical
development “we have sent our messengers with dear arguments and
have sent down with them books and balance book of equity so that
men might uphold justice”. All of Allah’s book contained the same
believes but what made them distinct was the details of law given
according to difference of time. However Allah’s last book, quran, is the
scripture containing laws and guidance for today as well as tomorrow’s
generations Quran is also not altered and is as pure as it was revealed.
Quran being final book contains the cord of life from laws about
religion, economics, politics, social and moral obligations to personal
laws relating high hygiene, diet and relations it clarifies about lawful
and unlawful. The holy Quran contains
‘avamir’{commandments},’nawahis’{prohibitions} and nas{decrees}. It
also narrates stories of prophets from encouragement of the writers
and warning for those who disobeys. Quran laws are not a burden on
mankind as Allah says “Allah does not charge a soul more than it can
bear” and said there are several rewards for its recitation including ease
in day of judgment and Quran testifies “lifting one’s heart wonder in
the garden of the Quran it will bring comfort to his grief and healing for
his worries and distress”
Hands Quran is a final and complete book of Allah and the last verse
beautifully combines “this day have I perfected your religion for you,
completed my favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your
religion”
