Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn’t fuzzy,
was he?
Early Start
Anika washed the rice grains. Then she put them into
a pot. She also put in two cups of water. Finally, she
covered the pot and left it on the electric stove. After
twenty minutes, she went to check on the pot. It was not
hot. She saw that the plug was still on the floor. Anika
looked at the clock and shook her head. It was almost

TREES
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the Earth’s sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

“Anong napulot mo?” tanong ni Jun.
“Hindi, Luis. Hindi iyo ang perang iyan. Isasauli natin ang pitaka

Luis.

malaking balutan. Palinga-linga ang matanda. Parang may hinahanap
ito.
