RESOLUTION CREATING THE WOMEN’S LEAGUE ASSOCIATION IN BARANGAY PILI,

SAN FERNANDO, ROMBLON

WHEREAS, Art. II, Sec. 14 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution provides that the State
recognizes the role of women in nation-building, and shall ensure the fundamental equality before the law
of women and men;

WHEREAS, Art. XIII, Sec. 14 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution further provides that the State
shall protect working women by providing safe and healthy working conditions, taking into account their
maternal functions, and such facilities and opportunities that will enhance their welfare and enable them
to realize their full potential in the service of the Nation;

WHEREAS, the barangay will ensure the participation of women in barangay and
support/provide necessary assistance for their development process;

WHEREAS, Barangay Pili will create/organize Women’s League Association as barangay-based

women’s organization;
 WHEREAS, the barangay hereby organizes the Women’s League Association which is the
following:

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Bernardo V. Romano duly seconded by all the
members present, it was:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, Creating the Women’s League Association in Barangay

Pili, San Fernando, Romblon.

RESOLVED FINALLY, to provide copies of this resolution to the office of the barangay for
their information and record.

APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY this 4th day of December, 2023.
