A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE HEREIN ATTACHED PHILIPPINE

NUTRITION ACTION PLAN OF 2017-2022 FOR BARANGAY PILI, SAN FERNANDO,
ROMBLON

WHEREAS, endorsed for consideration by this Body is the proposed Barangay Nutrition Action
Plan of Barangay Pili for 2024 containing therein several programs, projects and activities deemed
necessary to attain the development thrust of the health and nutrition sector;

WHEREAS, undernutrition is largely prevalent among young children and pregnant women;

WHEREAS, to effectively address the lingering problem of malnutrition in the barangay, the
Barangay Nutrition Action Plan was formulated comes with a budget for the entire year;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Nutrition Committee (BNC) has prioritized the programs, projects
and activities geared towards its fight against malnutrition in the barangay for Calendar Year 2024,

WHEREAS, these projects, programs and activities will be implemented in the homes, day care
canter and community which includes feeding program, micronutrient supplementation, food assistance,
livelihood assistance, nutrition education;
 NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Bernardo V. Romano duly seconded by all the
members present, it was:

RESOLVED, it is hereby resolved, to adopt/approve the Barangay Nutrition Action Plan of

Barangay Pili, Pili, San Fernando, Romblon, copy of the same is hereto attached.

RESOLVED FINALLY, to provide copies of this resolution to the office of the Barangay for
their information and record.

APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY this 8th day of January 2024.
