RESOLUTION NO.___series of 2017

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE BDRRM PLAN FOR YEAR 2018-2020
BY THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
(BDRRMC) OF BARANGAY BINANUAHAN, JUBAN, SORSOGON.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee aims to reduce
or reduction the effect brought by any natural calamities and to strengthen the availability
and capacity of the BDCC members through trainings/seminars and formulation of the
BDRRM Plan for all hazards identified in the barangay;

WHEREAS, the Barangay San Isidro is prone to typhoon as a main hazards of the barangay
that brought us a floods, landslides and sometimes storm surge that causes more
destruction in the barangay;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee of Barangay

Binanuahan created a BDRRM plan with through the help of other NGO’s and PO’s to plan
out the upcoming natural and man-made calamities that maybe hit the barangay;

WHEREAS, the BDRRM PLAN serves as our tool/basis how to be well organize the
community and citizen in times of natural calamities/disaster hit our barangay;
 NOWTHEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Monina G. Hainto and duly seconded by all
members of the Sangguniang Barangay present, be it;

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED A RESOLUTION TO APPROVED AND ADOPT

BDRRM PLAN FOR THE YEAR 2017-2020 BY THE BDRRMC OF BARANGAY
BINANUAHAN, JUBAN, SORSOGON.

Resolved, further that the copies of this resolution be furnished the DILG and MDRRMC of
Juban, Sorsogon for their inclusion and approval to the MDRRMC DRRM plan.

RESOLUTION PREPARING AND ENDORSING THE THREE (3) YEAR BARANGAY
DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (BDRRMP) AND
CONTINGENCY PLAN2018-2020 OF THE BARANGAY OF CALATEO TO THE
SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY FOR THEIR ADOPTION AND APPROVAL.

WHEREAS, Local Government Code of 1991 mandates the barangay under the General
Welfare Clause to formulate a plan that is comprehensive enough for effective and efficient delivery
of basic social and economic services;

WHEREAS, Barangay Development Council shall serve as the development blue print that
will guide the barangay Local Government in formulating their barangay development plan and
budget;

WHEREAS, Barangay Development Council whose function is the primary planning unit in
the barangay with the participation of the civil society organization has come with this plan;

WHEREFORE, upon motion of Ms. Wilma B. Villare, duly seconded by Kagawad Gerardo D.
Erevera, be it;
 RESOLVED, as it is hereby done to prepare, approve and endorse the multi-sectoral five (5)
year Barangay Development Plan to the Sangguniang Barangay for their adoption and approval;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnished the Sangguniang Barangay
of Calateo, Juban, Sorsogon for their adoption and approval.

RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE THREE (3) YEAR BARANGAY
DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN AND CONTINGENCY PLAN OF
THE BARANGAY OF CALATEO.

WHEREAS, Local Government Code of 1991 mandates the barangay under the General
Welfare Clause to formulate a comprehensive development plan initiated by the local development
council and approved by the local Sanggunian;

WHEREAS, Barangay Development Council prepares a three (3) year multi-sectoral

barangay development plan identifying the program/projects/activities that will address the needs
of the barangay to attain its goal;

WHEREAS, Barangay Council after examination and consideration of the prepared plan
deems it necessary and essential for the progress and development of the barangay;

WHEREFORE, upon motion of Kagawad Joselyn M. Robedilloduly seconded by Kagawad

Dennis D. Dellosa, be it;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby done to adoptand approve the five (5) year Barangay
Development Plan of the Barangay.
 RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnished to different agencies
concerned for their perusal and information.
