A BARANGAY RESOLUTION ADOPTING GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT (GAD) PLAN AND

CREATNG/ESTABLISHING BARANGAY FOCAL POINT SYSTEM AND STRUCTURE AND
DESIGNATING (GAD) FOCAL PERSON.

RESOLUTION No. 33
Series of 2021

WHEREAS, the Presiding Officer presented to the august body the need to adopt Barangay
Resolution adopting Gender and Development (GAD) plan and creating/establishing Barangay GAD
Focal Point System and structure and designating GAD Focal Person.

WHEREAS, it is of Prime importance creating/establishing Gender and Development (GAD) in

each Barangay to assure that nobody will be deprived of their rights Privileges and equality.

WHEREAS, the sannguniang Barangay of Pamucutan strongly recommended the

creating/establishing and adopting GAD plan. Its program and policies, project and activities.

NOW THEREFORE, after due deliberation on the matter by member Melanie C. Abella, duly
seconded member Rosalyn A. Abdul and the majority, it was;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the above resolution adopting Gender and
Development (GAD) Plan and creating/establishing Barangay GAD Focal Point System and
structure and designating GAD Focal Person.

RESOLVED FURTHERE, to furnish copies of the resolution to the office of the Congressman,
District 1, Zamboanga City, Hon. Cesar Jr. “JAWO” L. Jimenez and the office of the City Mayor, Hon.
Ma. Isabelle G. Climaco Salazar and other offices concerned for guidance and information.
