SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES IN THE ART CONTEST IN CELEBRATION OF FIRE

PREVENTION MONTH
1. In pursuant to Schools Division Memorandum No. 71, s. 2024 entitled “Submission
of Entries in the Art Contest in Celebration of Fire Prevention Month”.

2. In line with the DepEd Order No. 028 s. 2016 entitled “Strengthening the Fire
Safety and Awareness Program”, this school announces the celebration of Fire
Prevention Month on March 2024 with the theme sa Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi
ka Nag-iisa.

3. This activity aims to raise awareness among learners about fire safety and enhance
their knowledge on fire related hazards. All learners are encouraged to participate
in the Art Contest: Drawing for Grade 4 – Grade 6 and Poster Making for Grade
8 – Grade 10 Learners, using a ½ (20”x30”) illustration board. The outputs of the
1st place winners per grade level of each school shall be submitted on or before
February 27, 2024 at the Records Unit of the Schools Division Office.

4. The submitted outputs will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Relevance to the theme – 40%
Creativity and Originality – 30%
Aesthetic Appeal – 30%
TOTAL 100%

5. Top three for each category shall be given Certificate of Recognition and will be
endorsed to participate in the contest sponsored by the Bureau of Fire on March 8,
2024 at the Science City of Muñoz Fire Station.

6. Immediate and widest dissemination of this Memorandum is earnestly desired.
