As can be seen from the pie chart, the largest expenditure goes on housing and food
in both countries. The spending figures for transport and healthcare in Japan are double
those in Malaysia.
As the pie charts show, the expenditure on food takes lead in the first chart with
almost a quarter (24%), which is higher than the second greatest share with 21% belonging
to housing. Besides, in Malaysia, housing amounts to the highest proportion of their income
in the second chart with 34%, which is compared to the smaller that of 27% held by food.
Transport ranks third in both countries with 20% and 10%, but Japan figure is two time as
much as Malaysian one. While both nations spent the lowest spending on healthcare, the
budget of Japan is double the percentage of that of Malaysia.
Japan and Malaysia share the same figure of the remainder with 29% and 26%,
respectively.
