SUBJECT — : DAMAGE AND LOSS ASSESSMENT DUE TO TYPHOON ODETTE
DATE 105 January 2022
The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) has institutionalized the conduct of Post-Disaster Needs Assessment
(PDNA) through the gathering of information on the sustained damages and losses due to TYPHOON
ODETTE.
In line with this, affected Water Districts are requested to supply the information regarding damages to
their water supply assets as well as income and opportunity losses.
Assessment forms are attached to facilitate this task.
Considering the urgent nature of this request and the timeframe given to collate all the information,
accomplished assessment forms should be sent to LWUA not later than January 15, 2022. These will form
Part of the reports to be submitted to the OCD.

Partially damaged means the asset can still be recovered/rehabilitated through repairs or replacement of parts that do not exceed 50% of the asset value.
