Red line on pattern - edge needs to be angle cut


or tooled to fit like the model.

x1 - One piece is only needed for the build.

x2 - Two pieces will be needed. Trace piece,


(right side of model),then flip the pattern
over to create the left side.

Below can be modified to how you build.


You can cut the parts out and just angle cut,
or use the undercut, techniques below.

Hill - "V" cut made on the back side of


the foam, that does not go all the way through,
then glued to create a ’hill.’

Valley - Straight cut made on the back side


of the foam, that does not go all the way through,
opened, filled with hot glue to create valley on top.

When cutting this part out,


create an oval shape instead
of the polygon that the file is creating.

Create the hill cut on the foam and glue


back into this section.

before tracing to foam.
