Are the AfterBoards Mock questions similar in difficulty to IPMAT

Indore?

Yes, our mocks provide a similar representation. We also have mocks

that aim to address every version of IPMAT 2024 imaginable. We do not
know if the entire paper is going to be hard or easy, so our mocks also
vary similarly!

Also, some extra gyan: unlike other exams where all the questions are of
a similar difficulty level, IPMAT has a twist. They sprinkle a mixture of
easy, medium and hard questions.

This is an actual question that is a no-brainer.

Then you have simple questions, a ‘lil time taking, but not impossible:
You also have these that make you go… “god bless but what the hell”?

And also some usual normal basic math questions, anyone who studied
Time Speed Distance would have prolly come across a very similar
question:

So this being said, what stops people from scoring high in IPMAT Indore
if there is a subset of easy questions?

We've narrowed it down to:

1. They get stressed, they are unable to recognise what is easy.
2. They get stuck in a question which looks easy but it isn't, and
they're unable to move on!
3. They are not comfortable with skipping 10 questions in a row
because it gives them anxiety of failing the exam.

Thus, IPMAT, unlike your boards, is all about the art of picking easy
questions (these low-hanging fruits).

In boards we go: Q1, Q2, Q3...

In IPMAT, the way you leave questions make all the difference

Those 4-6 minutes someone spends on a question fruitlessly is a huge

pain. That's almost 10% of your time.
So, skimming through all the questions quickly, picking out 4-5
questions, trying to solve them; and maybe you're not able to solve a
questions after 40-80 seconds (as in, you're unable to visualise the next
steps to be taken, and you're hitting a wall), you have to LEAVE, EXIT,
don't let it gaslight you into solving it (or) thinking you can solve it.

Leave it for later. Get done with all the easy ones!

And that's where the way we mark the questions with "easy", "medium",
"hard" comes in handy! It allows you to hopefully grow a sense of what
could be those easy questions in the mocks.

So to answer this, IPMAT has questions from 3 out of the 4 difficulty

levels of our platform. It's a mixture of 15-30% easy, 30-50% medium,
40-60% hard. That's why the cutoff is also less than 50% of your total
marks! Similarly, our mocks also have a mixture!
