MONDAY: In Week 23, I dedicated time to reflect on my career development within the banking and
financial sector. I reviewed my experiences, skills acquired, and goals set during my SIWES
placement.

TUESDAY: I had a one-on-one discussion with a career development advisor within the bank. We
talked about my interests, strengths, and aspirations within the banking industry. The advisor provided
insights into potential career paths and opportunities in the sector.

WEDNESDAY: Today, I researched further about different career options in banking and finance. I
explored roles in retail banking, corporate finance, investment banking, risk management, and more.
It was enlightening to see the variety of career paths available.

THURSDAY: I reached out to professionals in the bank who were working in roles I found interesting.
I conducted informational interviews to gain insights into their career journeys, responsibilities, and
advice for someone starting a career in that field.

FRIDAY: The week concluded with a career development workshop. The workshop covered topics
such as setting career goals, developing a professional network, and continuous learning. It reinforced
the importance of proactive career planning.

WEEK 24

MONDAY: In this last week of my SIWES program, I began by reviewing all the knowledge and
skills I've acquired during this valuable experience. I revisited my logbook entries, assignments, and
the various departments and projects I've been a part of.

TUESDAY: I took some time to reflect on how this program has contributed to my personal and
professional growth. I thought about the key takeaways, challenges I've overcome, and the valuable
insights I've gained.

WEDNESDAY: Today, I had a farewell meeting with my colleagues and mentors at Providus Bank.
We shared our experiences and expressed our gratitude for the knowledge and guidance received
throughout the program. It was a heartfelt farewell.

THURSDAY: I documented the key highlights of my SIWES journey, including the skills I've
developed, the professionals I've networked with, and the achievements I'm proud of.

FRIDAY: As I conclude my SIWES program, I'm filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude.
This experience has provided me with a solid foundation for my future career in the banking and
financial sector.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

on such days. (e.g. eid elkabir holiday, public holiday, election day, sanitation
day, children day holiday, father’s day holiday etc.). You MAY chose and
skip the detail provided for that day.
2. If you were absent on any day for a valid reason, you can indicate your
absence and indicate the reason for your absence.
3. Each picture should be drawn in a single page. Do not draw two images on
the same page. The write up under each picture is the picture description,
include it after each drawing
4. If any day fall in your exam day indicate it on the logbook and skip the details
provided for that particular day or week.
5. You can add or remove some details from this material to suit your
preferences.
6. You may choose to summarize a particular sentence, if the sentence is too
long and may not fit into the space provided in the logbook. (Reduce the size
of your hand writing)
7. Two images are provided for you after each week, draw on them separately
on the two-drawing space provided for you in the logbook.
8. Some space left for drawing and be used write up on the logbook.
9. This document should be kept confidential (private, personal) and not for
general circulation.
10.You may choose to draw any image of your choice, to suit your preferences.
