Task2

In today’s world, people can be easily followed without having their permission with the developing
technology. I believe that this situation is beneficial when both compare its positives and negatives.

First of all, by using tracking applications, medicals can track their patients. Especially elderly people
should be followed carefully when they are in need. It is not always possible for young people to call
someone instantly or hire a caretaker. Doctors might have a system that monitors elderly people. That
system would give a chance to old people to reach anytime they need, even if they cannot call the
doctor. Because that monitoring system can detect the problem instantly. Also, these monitoring
programs can remind them of their time of pill, by following their routines.

Secondly, monitoring technology might be beneficial to follow criminals. Governments can have the
control over these criminals. By monitoring them, they might provide security. Criminals would not be
confident while committing an offense. Police can prevent any suspicious situation by tracking their
phones and activities. Especially, newly released criminals would be tracked and their adaptation to
daily life could be observed. By tracking the criminals, both the criminals and ordinary people can feel
secure and coherent in daily life.

To sum up, the sayings and doings of people can be followed easily in today’s world with the
developing technology, this would provide two benefits which are medical support to elderly people
and observing the behaviours of criminals. These benefits make tracking more advantageous when
compared with the disadvantages.
