    OCA CIRCULAR NO. 72-2024

    TO ALL FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL COURTS

    SUBJECT: RENAMING THE PHILIPPINE MEDIATION CENTER AS


    PHILIPPINE MEDIATION DIVISION

    Pursuant to the Resolution dated 27 February 2024 in A.M. No. 24-02-13-SC (Re:
    Renaming the Philippine Mediation Center as 'Philippine Mediation Division ,), the Court
    en bane resolved to RENAME the Philippine Mediation Center as 'Philippine Mediation
    Division' in view of its transfer from the Philippine Judicial Academy to the OCA and for
    purposes of categorizing the different divisions of the OCA and lessening confusion about
    its classification as a line division under the Court Management Office, OCA.
