Product in Brief
Based on the latest microcomputer technology. Automatic Bell Management System is an elegant
device, especially designed to ring the Schools/Colleges Bell automatically. There is no need to
assign an individual for ringing the bell, at different times during the day. It gives you hassle free
installation and its inbuilt clock ensures, accurate bell controlling as per set timing. It is a
multipurpose real time programmable switch with 16 on/off programs which makes it ideal for
hostels and residential schools. It can also be used for intelligent control of lighting equipment,
fish aquarium, street lamps, garden lights decorative lighting, hoarding lighting, glow sign board
and outdoor lighting, neon signboards, household electrical appliances etc.

With 24-hour format (Railway timings). The bell times are to be set once initially and the bells
automatically ring as per the week schedule. It is a week scheduled unit and will repeat the
schedule as per the week day. A user can program the various timings of the periods, recess, etc.
A Panel LED turns red when internal relay is switched on & turned off when internal relay is
switched off thus indicating the power on condition of the System.
Office Inverter supply can be used for uninterrupted functionality. Memory and time do not get
erased during power failure all settings and Real Time Clock, are saved for 3 years.

The system has following two options for connecting your devices:
1) N & L (FD): Fixed Duration Option (10 – 15 Sec fixed duration) for Electric Bell
2) N & L (VD): Variable Duration Option (Minimum 1 Minute to any time) for Other Electrical
Devices

Ensure that Electric Gong Bell connects to L(FD) Option Only so to run only for 10 seconds
only otherwise, if connected to L(VD) the electric gong bell will be damaged.

Product usage precautions & Safety Information:

1) Please read the instructions carefully before use. We are not responsible for damage
caused by incorrect use of our timer
2) The electrical power must not exceed the rated power, otherwise the system may burn
3) This product has no waterproof function, only use in indoor environment. Beware of
splashing water in bathroom, kitchen, bathtub.
4) Beware of children’s contact, pay attention to safety.
5) Do not insert foreign objects other than the plug into the socket
6) Do not adjust the timer settings while the power is on
7) Do not repair, disassemble or modify the timer yourself.
8) Automatic School Bell System is only meant for School/Colleges/Factory Gong
Bells/Hooters, so please do not connect any other Electrical Load to avoid Damage to the
Product, otherwise there will be No Responsibility of the Manufacturer.
9) 6 Amp MCB must be connected between Electrical Power and Device.
10)Install the Device only thorough Qualified Electrician to prevent Shocking Hazards.
11)Install Device out of the reach of Children.
12)Installation and Use of the Product should be Done according to the Installation and
Operating Instructions given in the Operating Manual.
13)Do not plug in an appliance where the load exceeds 6 Amp. Always ensure the plug of any
appliance is fully inserted into the timer is required, remove from mains power and wipe
timer with a dry cloth.
14)Do not immerse the system in water or any other liquid
15)Heaters and similar appliances should never be left unattended during operation. The
manufacturer recommends such appliances not be connected to timers.

Operating Manual
Functional description to buttons on panel
1. PROG / TIMER: To Set Programs according to Your Time Table
2. ON/AUTO/OFF or MANUAL: To select Between Auto or Manual Mode
3. CLOCK: To Set current DAY & TIME
4. WEEK / DAY: To adjust day of week
5. HOUR: To adjust Hour
6. MIN: To adjust minute
7. R: Reset Timer’s setting
8. RES/RCL: To Reset or Clear Some Programs (Only available in Model PT-ASBS 1.0)
9. LED: To indicate ON/OFF Status
Press R button to reset timer before new programming
Initial Operation
1) Plug the timer into a regular 220-240 Volt household supply and turn the power on
2) Leave approx. 12 hours to charge the memory backup batteries if uncharged
3) Clear all current information by pressing the “R” button with an object Ex. pencil.
4) The timer is now ready to be setup for use.
Setting the Clock:
1) Press the CLOCK button and hold, simultaneously press the week button until the actual
day is displayed. Continue by pressing HOUR & MINUTE button until the current hour &
minute is displayed. When setting, the buttons week, hour or minute can be held down for
rapid forward counting.
2) Release both buttons. The week and time will be set.
3) To reset incorrect time, repeat previous steps

1. Press the PROG/TIMER button and release. The first on setting can be made now
2. Press WEEK/DAY button to set the day or blocks of days. Set the time by pressing the
HOUR button and then MIN button. select any of 15-combination of Daily-Programs to your
application demand. Continuing to press DAY key, LCD shall alternatively indicate among
15-Combinations
3. Press the PROG/TIMER button again to finish the first on setting and enter into the first off
setting. By repeating 2 to make the first off setting.
4. Press the PROG/TIMER button again to finish the first off setting and enter into the 2 on
setting. Repeat 2 & 3 to program remaining settings
5. After completing settings, press the CLOCK button and the timer is ready to operate.
6. Repeat programming procedure “3” to set desired Hour & Minute for 1OFF
 7. When finished setting 1ON & 1OFF, Press TIMER, 2ON -- : --_ shall appear on LCD Screen
8. Repeat programming procedure above to complete rest of ON/OFF program period (event)
9. When finished program setting (event), press CLOCK, Timer shall start to execute
programs.
Day-Combination chosen in each of ON/OFF program-period must be consistent.
AUTO/ MANUAL setting
1) Press ON/AUTO/OFF / MANUAL button to revert to the three mode in turn.
2) Select ON or OFF to operate the bell manually.
3) If selected AUTO, then timer will run by setup program in auto mode.

A. To review or verifying programs, keep press PROG / TIMER key, display on LCD screen
shall alternate display among each of 16 ON/OFF programs.
TIP: when verifying your programs ensure that the settings do not overlap, especially when
using the off option

Time Table Setting Example:

Bell Ring on at 8:05 am every day except Sunday
a) Press PROG / TIMER and LCD displays 1ON -- : --_
b) Press WEEK / DAY till LCD displays “MO,TU,WE,TH,FR,SA”
c) Press HOUR till LCD displays 8 : --
d) Press MIN till LCD displays 8 : 05
e) Press PROG / TIMER key again and LCD will display 1OFF -- : --_
f) Repeat the above c & d till LCD displays 8 : 06
g) Press the button “RES/RCL” to Reset some programs or press the button “RES/RCL” again
to recall the selective programs
Note:
If Using for Automatic Bell then Set Off Time 1 Minutes more than the ON time thus if ON time 8:05
so the OFF time will be 8:06.

bring or send the product to our registered address at his/her own cost in case of any after
sales service is needed. This also implies that all logistical costs, including inward and
outward logistics for availing the service within the warranty period or post warranty
period, have to be bored by the customer.
6). The product should not be used exceeding its technical and other general usage limits.
Failures proving to be on this account are not covered under warranty.
7). The product is designed to be used for indoor use only. The product is not at all
waterproof. Hence the utmost care has to be taken by the user in this regard. This implies
that damage proving to be due to the entry of water inside the product is and would not be
covered under warranty and may lead to termination of the warranty.

Warranty Details for this offer:

1). One-year warranty against any kind of manufacturing defect shall apply.
2). Warranty starts from the date of our invoice.
3). Manufacturer reserves the rights to repair or replace the system.
4). Any kind of warranty claim arising due to misuse, physical damage, installation defect,
unauthorized service attempts or fiddling would not be covered under warranty and would
result in termination of warranty.
5). Warranty liability on seller is limited to a maximum amount of selling price of the
product. No consequential and indirect compensations are payable by the seller under any
condition.
6). Warranty period for the product is 12 months and warranty would not be applicable if
the product body is opened. capacity of the product is 6 Amps & burns the electronic
components the product Is not covered under warranty.
