Are you looking for an innovative collaborator who is invested in

all areas of youth development?

My name is Samantha Hamawi. Over the past 3 years, I have

worked continuously in educational settings with children aged 3-
12 years. I have helped guide social and emotional development in
preschool settings, provided safe childcare after school and during
school breaks, and worked side by side with professional educators
in elementary aged classrooms.

Some of my qualifications are:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education
2. Oregon Preliminary Teaching License – Multiple Subjects

I am invested in child development intellectually, socially,

emotionally. I aspire to create a classroom that is not only a safe
space, but a brave space for students to learn from myself,
themselves, and their peers in a collaborative environment. There
is no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching children and
appropriate differentiation begins with relationship building.
