This is the approach I use for all the certifications I take, and it works very well for most of my students too!

1. Watch the certification videos you have. Watch all the videos, take notes on the downloadable study guides
from ThorTeaches.com.
2. Pause the videos every so often and explain the concepts to yourself from your notes.
3. IF you have chosen to read an entry level cybersecurity book, so that and update your notes.
4. Take a full Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) practice test.
5. Restudy all the questions you got wrong, update your notes.
6. Re-watch the videos, maybe at x1.5-2 speed, update your notes.
7. (Re-read the book, update your notes).
8. Take a full Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) practice test.
9. Restudy all the questions you got wrong, update your notes.
10. Repeat step 9 until you score 80%+ on tests
AND you feel comfortable explaining the concepts.
