The Forgiving, The Just

) ُ‫ئ ِع َبادِيُ أَ ِنيُ أَنَا أٱلغَفورُ ٱلر ِحيمُ * َوأَنُ َعذَا ِبي ه َوُ أٱل َعذَابُ أٱۡلَ ِليم‬

“O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. And
that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment.”

1- Why has Allah, glory be to him, instructed Muslims to ask forgiveness as much as possible?
