Mahmud Ghazni

Ghazni was a small kingdom in Afganishan establish by


a nobleman in 10th century. Mahmud Ghazni was a
successor who decided to conquer Central Asia but he
did not have enough money to increase his army. Then
he decided to loot India. He targeted Peshawar and
Punjab where he won. Then he attacked Thaneser after
that he attacked Kanuaj and Mathura. After that he
raided Kalinjar. His one of the biggest raid was in Gujrat
when he stole all the precious things in Somnath
temple which was very rich temple. He invaded India
17 times.

Muhammad Ghori
Many people believe that Ghori was the founder of
Muslims. Ghori tried to conquer the Gujrat but king
Mularaj II defeated him. Then he used Khyber Pass to
conquer Punjab and he even conquered Peshawar,
Lahore and Sialkot. He fought with Prithviraj Chauhan
which led to the First Battle of Tarian in which Prithviraj
defeated him. Then Prithviraj did not try to remove
him from Punjab so he recovered. Then in the second
Battle of Tarain which is even known as turning point
Prithviraj was defeated. Then he conquered Hansi,
Saraswati, Samna and Ajmer.
