    Long More + Adjective + Than The Most + Adjective

    Adjectives I bought a couch that is more comfortable than the old one. Firing someone is the most uncomfortable thing one can do.

    Adjective (–ER or –IER) + Than The + Adjective (–EST or –IEST)


    Short
    Kelly is happier than she used to be. Stella is the shortest player in the soccer team.
    Adjectives
    SUPERIORITY Lenny is taller than Adam. Tommy is the funniest friend I have.

    Irregular Adjective + Than The + irregular adjective

    Irregular Good → Better Good → The best

    Comparatives Bad → Worse Bad → The worst

    Far → Further / Farther Far → The farthest/furthest

    EQUALITY Kimberly is as responsible as Stacy.

    Less + Adjective + Than The Least + Adjective
