GERMANY OCCUPIED POLAND - 1ST SEPTEMBER 1939

Reaction from Great Britain + France = declared war to Germany

1940 - GERMAN PLAN: BLITZKRIEG WAR


-Objetctive: occupy as much european territory as possible. Make the
Third Reich territories more extensive.
- How?:
· Objective nº1: Occupy Denmark + Norway: so they could control
the Baltic Sea + the could obtain the swedish iron for the correct
development of their weaponary industry.
· Objective nº2: Occupy Belgium + the Netherlands: so they could
isolate Great Britain and also try yo get inside France and control
Paris.

HOW? THEY ARE GOING TO ATTACK THE BRITISH COLONY IN EGYPT FOR THE CONTROL OF THE SUEZ CANAL.
WE CONTINUE WITH HITLERS PLAN TO
CONTROL EUROPE.
WHAT IS HAPPENING
IN THE PACIFIC
OCEAN?
JAPAN IS GOING TO HAVE A PREDOMINANT ROLE
IN THE CONFLICT.
AXIS CONTROLLED AREAS BY THE END
OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR

This is going to be the situation at the end of the rst phase of Second World War. Now things are
going to turn all the way round so Germany is going to stop winning all the battles and now, the
Allied powers are going to be the ones winning to the Axis powers.
SECOND PHASE-SECOND
WORLD WAR (1942-1945)
IT IS GOING TO BE CHARACTERISED BY THE ORGANISATION
AND VICTORY OF THE ALLIED POWERS.

The allied powers are going to


join forces in order to reduce the
territories controlled by
Germany. They are going to do it
from three di erent sides.
WAYS FOR REDUCING
HITLERS TERRITORY.
AS YOU CAN SEE, BY 1945, THE GERMAN
INFLUENCE (AND ALSO THE AXIS POWERS)
WAS QUITE REDUCED.
BUT THE WAR CONTINUED IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN
