Are they too short or too long, and do they allow
students to provide a complete and accurate response?

8. Clues or hints: Are there any unintended clues or


hints in the test questions that may lead students to the
correct answer.
9. Bias: Are the test questions free from bias, cultural
references, or inappropriate language that may
disadvantage certain groups of students?

10. Answer choices: If the test questions are multiple-


choice, are the answer choices plausible and well-
constructed? Are they clear and distinct from each
other?
