 Example (this dialogue doesn’t include the part of the
description of the photo, you have to add it) :
 Police officer: Please sit down, sir. I’d like to ask you a few questions about the theft of a
phone a few minutes ago
 Security guard: Yes, officer. I’ve just heard about it

 Police officer: Yes, I know. Let’s start. We think someone took the phone from the girl’s
handbag while she was looking at her phone. What were you doing an hour ago?

 Security guard: I was standing by the entrance of the store and monitoring people coming
in and out. I think the person who took her phone ran out the store to the right.

 Police officer: Tell me everything you remember. What did the person look like?

 Security guard: Let me think , I saw a man approach the victim in the back of the store. It
seemed like she was busy shopping, but I didn’t think anything of it. Then I heard the
woman say, “My phone has been stolen”. Suddenly the man, who I assume is the thief, ran
out of the store.

 Police officer: What else can you tell me about the man? Can you describe to me what he
was wearing?

 Security guard: I don’t know. I didn’t see his face because he was wearing a hat. I think he
was tall, but he ran past me very quickly. It seemed like he had dark hair underneath his
hat.∙
 Police officer: Was anyone with the man? .
 Security guard: Well, I do not think so. He ran out of the store alone.

 Police officer: Have you ever seen this man before today? If yes, what did you notice about
his behavior?

 Security guard: Um, I think I remember him in the store last week. Oh, and he didn’t buy
anything. ∙

 Police officer: Ok, I think it’s enough. Thank you very much for your help.
