Stewardship and Church Administration

REFLECTION PAPER 01
Being a good steward is associated with administering a church or a flock of
believers, you cannot be a good steward while you cannot administer well the church. As I
lead the church basically, I came to build a good relationship as I always reminded that its
good to have a harmonious relationship with my neighbors as Jesus commanded that is why
I always consider the voice of the church. With this, it is very important that a Pastor as
Shepherd of the flock can be both a good steward and a good administer so that a church
can actually fulfill its vision, mission and goals. I can testify from the goodness of God that
I’m still on the process of enriching and nurturing my calling in serving Him which is not an
easy task because serving Him takes challenges, sacrifices and struggles that will always let
me to pursue and not to quit no matter what happens. There is no perfect ministry but will
always perfecting the work of God because it is due to His glory as I believe that there is no
established ministry abandoned by God. God chose His people whom He called to serve .

My experiences will push me through to be more firmed in shepherding the flock

which was entrusted to me. Just like what I have learned from our discussion, Focus. When I
focus on the very important part of leading a church, I will show and share the vision,
mission and goal. It will be transformational and progressive. Next, feel my flocks, feel the
church’s needs and always consider the least things to be more careful on troubleshooting it
for the orderliness of the church and then Flow in one direction. To flow in one direction
means they understand my leadership, they know what I’m doing and they support my
being.

I will always understand that I’m the Shepherd of the church and I must act
accordingly to as their leader, with integrity and respect that will also transcends to the
whole community of the members as they continue to love and serve God. For example, I
will always have time to listen to their voices and insights that will make each ministry a
progressive one. There were times that I cannot decide on what to do with the other church
members but it came to a point that I must focus on the present members, develop, train
and help them that they may also discover more their skills and potentials for the growing
ministry. There are more to discover and strategize the ministry, the church the believers
that enclosed stewardship and administering church in one and I know that I cannot do it
without the help of our God.
