Epo obo( Anti-witchcraft leave)

It is a general believe in the ancient times that the evil forces of witchcraft stay off this special leaf and
the bark of the tree.

It was also believed that when you notice that what you are doing is not going straight and your
business is not moving forward or it was not moving at all or you apply for contract and they don't give it
to you. Just know that it was the work of evil spirit that is beside you.

This anti-inflammatory witchcraft leaf called epo oobo and some other ingredients can be used thus:

Epo-obo

Ewe ajekobale

Schnapps

Take epo-obo pound it in the mortar, pour it in a clean bottle.

Grind ewe ajekobale add it to the epo-obo that is inside the bottle mix it very well. Pour schnapps to it,
covered the bottle till second day.

Some people believe you can put the bark of this tree in your homes and even in drinking water.
The question now is;

Is this traditional believe still in operation?

What is the place of religion on this practice?
