Amangani (peaceful home) clings to the crest of East Gros Ventre Butte, some

7,000 feet (2,135 metres) above sea level, high above the town of Jackson, Wyoming.
The 40-suite retreat is a year-round destination acting as a premier ski resort from

features a deep-soaking tub, twin vanities and a shower room trimmed in slate. Floors are finished in clear-heart redwood.
