¡PROGRAMMING FOR EVERYONE!

Python
Guido van Rossum wrote the Python
programming language in the late 1980s, developed as an
open source project. Hired by Google in 2005, he
currently spends 50% of his time working on Python.

Van Rossum was born in 1956 in the Netherlands, he

studied for a master’s degree in mathematics. And
computer sciences from the University of Amsterdam in
1982.
Python is an interpreted programming language and its
name comes from Van Rossum’s fondness for the group
of British comedy called Monty Python.

He was a Google Engineer for an internal web application for code review, called
Mondrian.
One of the great advantages of Python is that it does not force programmers to adopt a
particular style and allows the choice of several paradigms: object-oriented
programming, structured programming and functional programming, in addition to
supporting other paradigms through the use of extensión.
