Cultural Competence Curriculum within DPT programs


 Created a survey in attempt to identify strategies that DPT programs within the U.S are implementing within
curriculum to prepare their students to be culturally competent and unbiased clinicians when providing physical
therapy services
 Created an additional survey to gather information regarding students’ perceptions on the effectiveness of the
curriculum and to determine their levels of cultural competence and if it corresponds with the curriculum

 Created exercise programs based on Physical Therapists evaluation of the patient’s condition and
instructions regarding patients plan of care based on their therapy needs.
