Network data – Image over Ethernet ”Round Robin”

Problem
• 2 monitors on the bridge is displaying Xband Radar – Which one should be recorded?
.

Solution 1 – Record both channels

• Configure 2 image channels and use “Location” as filter.
• Each monitor are recorded on separate channels
• Effectively the same image is recorded twice every 15 seconds

Solution 2 – Use Round Robin principle

• Configure 1 image channel and use “Class” as filter.
• Channel will record picture from monitor 1, wait 15 seconds and record next image from
monitor 2 and so on.

Advantages of “Round Robin”

• Saves space (fewer images recorded)
• More than 8 monitors can be recorded
