THE CAMERA SETUP
An affordable setup that will help you take beautiful before/after photos

NIKON D7500 $796

HIGH QUALITY CAMERA BODY FOR CLARITY

This is an exceptional camera. It’s lightweight, easy to use & ideal for
anyone looking to take incredible photos. Nikon & Canon are both
amazing companies but I personally give the edge to Nikon when it
comes to dental photography. (Camera Link)

NIKKOR 85MM LENS $428

MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY LENS FOR CLOSE UPS

The ideal lens for cosmetic dentists. An 85 mm lens allows you to capture
intricate details for excellent lab & patient communication. There is a 105
mm lens but I believe that this is overkill unless you are teaching a dental
course. (Lens Link)

METZ-MS1 RING $466

BRIGHT FLASH SYSTEM TO ILLUMINATE TEETH

Provides a large volume of light in one direction towards the teeth.

Clearly illuminates the mouth & is incredibly simple to use. Dual ring flash
systems give a more even distribution of light but it is technique sensitive.

AZDENTAL MIRROR $52

MIRRORS W/ HANDLES FOR ORTHODONTICS

Allows you to take a series of photos that can capture both the lingual &
buccal surfaces of teeth. A must for orthodontic therapy & useful for
patient communication in those hard to reach areas of the mouth.

Full disclosure: I receive a commission if you purchase the dental products through my referral links. This
helps me run my blog & youtube. I appreciate the support.
