Lagmay (SK)- Ex-officio member ABSENT: Hon, Jayrold Z. Roxas, member RESOLUTION NO. 033-2011 On motion of Councilor Godofredo G. Tangonan, Jr, unanimously seconded, RESOLVED, as it is hereby Resolved, to amend Section I, Section II and section III of Ordinance No. 2000-11 entitled, An ordinance prohibiting the drying and spreading of palay by person or persons along the main roads and streets of the municipality of Paniqui, at least one kilometer radius from the town center and providing penalties for violation thereof”. RESOLVED FURTHER, that this resolution be enacted into an ordinance , to wit; ORDINANCE NO. 2011 - 007 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION I, SECTION Il AND SECTION III OF ORDINANCE NO. 2000-11 ENTITLED: “AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DRYING AND SPREADING OF PALAY BY PERSON OR PERSONS ALONG THE MAIN ROADS AND STREETS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PANIQUI, AT LEAST ONE KILOMETER RADIUS FROM THE TOWN CENTER AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.” BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Paniqui, Tarlac, that: SECTION 1 - Section I of Ordinance No. 2000-11 which states: “Section 1. ~ Title ~ An ordinance prohibiting the drying and spreading of palay by person or persons along the main roads and streets of the municipality of Paniqui, at least one kilometer radius from the town center and providing penalties for violation thereof”, shall be amended to read, as follows: “Section 1. - Title — An ordinance prohibiting the drying and spreading of palay and corn and any kind of materials and agricultural products by person or persons along the main roads and all streets within the residential areas of all barangays of the ‘municipality of Paniqui and providing penalties for violation thereof.” ‘SECTION 2. ~ Additional paragraph be inserted under Section II-DEFINITION OF TERMS of the same ‘ordinance, to read as follows: 2.5 CORN - refers to milled or un-milled corn that are either separated or not ‘separated from its trunk and husk.SECTION 3. Additional paragraph be inserted under subsection 3.4 of Section III - PENALTY CLAUSE of the same ordinance, to read as follows: 3.4 FOR THE THIRD OFFENSE A penalty of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (P 2,500) and the revocation of permit to conduct business in the municipality of Paniqui, if the party is ‘engage in palay, rice and corn trading and the filing of appropriate charges before the proper court. SECTION 4. - This Ordinance shall take effect Ten (10) Days after its posting in the Bulletin Board located at the Town Hall and in Three (3) other conspicuous places in the municipality.
