Background
It is universally recognized that Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism) is the oldest religious philosophy in the world. Sanatan
Dharma scriptures “VEDAS” are the oldest holy books. Everybody, knowingly or unknowingly, was leading the life as
per Vedas and believing in the existence of a Supernatural Power that has created this universe.
From about 1000 BC started the advent of various Religions. During this period new term “Hindu” came into existence
and Hinduism promoted instead of Sanatan Dharma. It was done to push back the value system propagated by Sana-
tan Dharma and expand their religion by force, allurement, or coercion.
Sanatan Dharma means eternal values, duties & responsibilities as the Supernatural Power has set to follow for all
living and non-living beings. After going through so much violence over 3,000 years, the realization is creeping in for
peaceful co-existence of humankind.
Sanatan Dharma is the way forward for world peace. Resurgence of Sanatan Dharma is a
step in that direction. Read more …..

Before we go into details of how the project shall be funded, let us look into the means of Revenues the Holy City
shall have.
Once the Holy City is completed it shall attract pilgrims from all over India and the World. The estimated footfall shall
increase to 50 million (5 crores) per year going by the number of visitor other places of worship attract. (Tirupati
Balaji 40 million, Golden Temple 30 million, Vaishno Devi 30 million, Sai Baba 25 million)
The revenues generated from operations of the holy city shall be so large that it shall not only be able to meet day to
day expenses, it shall pay off debt, if taken, during building phase and be able to support other organizations with sim-
ilar objectives.
At this stage, we do not know how much funding shall be needed to build the holy city, but it is estimated to be not
less than Indian Rupees 20,000 crores (approx. US Dollars 3 Billion). Funding shall be raised through contributions,
donations, loans, equity, debentures etc. All avenues of funding shall be explored. We do not see problems in rais-
ing funds.

SANATAN DHARMA HOLY CITY
We expect the Sanctum shall create direct and indirect employment to 2,00,000 (two lakh) people. It shall generate
revenue for thousands of crores per year for the State.
Presence of such a Holy City in the State shall elevate the status of the State and lead to all around development.
A project by
Holy City shall be center for discharging knowledge on Sanatan Dharma and Hindu traditions, rituals, customs, festi-
vals etc. This shall lead to peace and harmony, eventually leading to development and happiness of its people.
Holy City shall also be a deterrence for those who shall disturb the ethos of peace and peaceful co-existence. India be-
lieves in “Ahinsa parmo dharma, dharma hinsa tadev cha” a writing in holy Bhagwad Geeta. The meaning of above
is “Non-violence is the highest moral duty, but violence done in the discharge or protection of duties is even of greater
virtue.”
Holy City shall demonstrate that India is the land of peaceful co-existence.

The realization of such a project depends on the support of the people and Government extending a helping hand.
From about 1000 BC started the advent of various Religions / Sects / Sampradayas i.e., Judaism, Zoroastrian, Jainism, Bud-
dhism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Arya Samaj, Swaminarayan, Sai Baba etc. During this period new term “Hinduism”
was coined and promoted instead of Sanatan Dharma. It was done to push back the value system propagated by
Sanatan Dharma and expand their religion by force, allurement, or coercion.
Sanatan Dharma means eternal values, duties & responsibilities as the Supernatural Power has set to follow for all living
and non-living beings. For the Supernatural Power (by whatever name it has been called during different times of
civilization i.e., God, Allah or any other) the World is one family. After going through so much violence over 3,000 years,
the realization is creeping in for peaceful co-existence of humankind.
Sanatan Dharma is the way forward for world peace. Resurgence of Sanatan Dharma is a step in that direction. What is
Sana-tan Dharma and its value system, we shall be disseminating that knowledge.

On the contrary onslaught of other religions on the followers of Sanatan Dharma has been going on for almost 3000
years. Due to this, followers of Sanatan Dharma shrank to the boundaries of India.
In spite of all this onslaught, India never attacked or invaded any country in its history.
Followers of Sanatan Dharma i.e., Hindus love to live in peace and have shown without any doubt that they are
ready to co-exist peacefully with believers of other faiths. Hindus are the most tolerant people in the world and
today they are respected for that.
Lately Hindus have taken an aggressive posture and it can take an ugly turn if the followers of other faiths do not
come to terms to respect the Sanatan Dharma followers.
