Subject: Typical Dry Film Thickness range for Polyclad 777 series.
Project: KOC - Feed pipeline for NRP-EF 1699

Dear Sir,

With reference to above subject, Polyclad 777 series can be applied in the range of 635 – 3000
microns depending on the service condition and project specification. For buried pipelines we
recommend typical DFT in the range of 750-2000 microns (refer Shell DEP 31.40.30.37, rev. Jan
2008).

Polyclad 777 has good adhesion to 3LPE (3-layer polyethylene) when applied as per the
recommended application technique.

Polyclad 777 comply with Shell-DEP 31.40.30.37-Gen 8.2.2 Liquid Polyurethane requirement of
solvent free polyurethane. However, Carboline packaging consists of Polyol ( Part-B) and Isocynate
(Part-A).

Sincerely,
