How can it affect our body?
Each drug causes different physical reactions, depending on the type of drug.
Some will make you feel more awake, alert and energetic. Others will give you a
calm, relaxed feeling. Some alter your perceptions and can cause
hallucinations.Drugs affect the body's central nervous system. They affect how
a person thinks, feels and behaves. The seven main types are depressants,
psychedelics, stimulants, empathogens, opioids, cannabinoids, and
dissociatives. Depressants slow down the messages travelling between the
brain and the body.
