STARTER

“When I was young, I always in awe when I saw butterflies, but I only thought them as
mere decorations in nature’s garden, their vibrant colours and graceful flight captivating
but fleeting. Little did I know, they held the secret to the door of mysteries in life’s
journey.

INTRODUCTION

Hello Assalamualaikum and a very good day I bid to ladies and gentlemen, and
welcome to today’s journey into the captivating world of butterflies. As we embark on
this exploration, I invite you to open your minds and hearts to the wonders that awaits
us.

Before we dive into our adventure, allow me to share a fascinating fact: Did you know
that butterflies taste with their feet? It is true! But fear not, I will not be asking anyone to
test this theory today!

PART 1 : Transformation

“Caterpillars do not know that they are going to become a butterfly”

Sit with that for a moment. The caterpillar had no idea that it would transform into a
beautiful, and fascinating butterfly. Just like us. We literally have no idea what the future
holds for us. We may feel small and unimportant at times, but what if we are simply
being prepare for something bigger, or something we cannot even fathom?

Folks, in metamorphosis, as the butterfly approaches its moment of release and

freedom, excited to fly freely. Its wings are pushing, pushing, pushing against the inside
of the pupa. “It’s that pushing motion that strengthens the butterfly’s wings”. Thus, if we
were going to slit open that cocoon prematurely, before the butterfly was ready with
scissors or knife, it would not be strong enough to fly compared to them emerge
naturally. Want to know why? Their wings are being strengthened by its struggle”.

But perhaps, the most remarkable aspect of the butterfly’s journey is its unwavering
belief in its own potential. Despite being restricted to the earth about their past, as a
lowly caterpillar, it never doubts its ability to transform into something extraordinary. It
simply trusts in the process and allows nature to pave the way.

Lovelies, we too must have faith in our ability and be open to embracing new
experiences that we have never attempted before. What is the thing that you are
anxious about doing? Maybe, speaking in front of a large audience like I am doing right
now? Flying fox? Or maybe hitting on your crush? Hahaha just try it.

PART 2 : Unseen beauty

“I look ugly, I hate myself! Why she can be effortlessly pretty, but I can’t!” Have you ever
questioned your own beauty or doubted your own worth? Now, have you ever stopped
to admire the detailed patterns and vibrant colours of butterfly’s wings? So beautiful,
right? Okay now let me ask you a question. Do you think, the butterfly can see their own
wings and realise how captivating they are? No, they can not even see their own pretty
wings. Same goes to us human.

We might not recognize our own talents, uniqueness, and beauty and keep on
comparing ourselves to other people. However, deep down in somebody’s eyes, maybe
we are like a diamond, admired for our charming personality, and the light we bring into
the world.

This has been proven to me. Me too, I also keep on questioning myself, like “I do not
think I am pretty enough” or sometimes, comparing myself. During my birthday, I often
received long wishes from my friends, whether my close friends, or friends that I do not
think we ever speak to each other. But you know what? That friend that I think I have
never communicated to, send me a very long message, and even poignant, she said in
her message, “I wanted to take a moment to let you know just how amazing you are.
You bring so much joy and positivity into the lives of those around you. Your kindness,
generosity, and infectious laughter make every moment spent with you truly
memorable.” I literally sobbing when I read her words.

Sometimes we do not see our own value, but there is always someone who sees the
best in us, even when we cannot.

PART 3 : Butterfly effect

Dear ones, have you ever considered how a simple action, like choosing to snooze your
alarm in the morning, can ripple through your day, leading to accidentally wearing your
shirt inside out and finally getting scolded by your lecturer for coming late to class? So
in conclusion, do not snooze your alarm and wake up early.

Okay, let me give you an example. Alif Satar, an influencer who has inspired more than
3000 people with his program, ’Geng Subuh Macam Jumaat’, which encourages people
to perform morning prayer together in the mosque. This program started at a mosque in
Bukit Damansara, but guess what? This program’s wings have spread far and wide, all
over the states in Malaysia, not only that, but it

also reached Turkey and South Korea!

This is what we called as ‘butterfly effect”. It is like domino effect, but with wings! This
concept reminds us that even the smallest actions can have far-reaching and powerful
consequences for our lives and the world around us. This is a powerful reminder that
every choice we make, no matter how small it is, it has the power to shape our destinies
and create a brighter future. Maybe today you are a teacher, then perhaps you have
done something special for the country. Who knows you might capture the heart of the
royalty, right?
CONCLUSION

As we already come to the end of our journey, I persuade each of you to embrace the
lessons of the butterfly. Dearest audience, please recognize the power of your actions,
discover the beautiful soul in and out that lies within yourself, and be brave to confront
the transformations that life brings in your way.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure into the world of the butterflies. May your
wings carry you to boundless skies, and may you always remember the magic that lies
within you. That is all from me and remember, you are a butterfly.
