In this poem, the poet talks about two-eyed seeing, and shows the Indigenous people’s
views of how fantastic and powerful nature is, and how we belong to it. Rebeca is
a respectful poet that teach us how to learn to see at the strengths of both Indigenous
and Western people and use two eyed seeing for more ways of knowledges.

in establishing our identities. He goes on to discuss the stories that have been told about
indigenous people and show us how Indigenous people treat nature as part of
themselves. Thomas King is a renowned writer and broadcast presenter who most often
writes about First Nations.
