‭Rule Book‬

‭Objective:‬
‭The main objective is to accumulate popularity and money by creating and‬
‭"borrowing" artworks. The game ends when any player's fortune reaches 100. The‬
‭player with the highest sum of popularity and money wins.‬

‭Game Setup:‬

‭●‬ ‭Players roll a dice to determine the turn order.‬


‭●‬ ‭Each player randomly obtains 2 artworks at start-up (roll two 1D6 normal dice).‬
‭●‬ ‭Everyone starts the game with 0 fortune and 0 fame.‬

‭Board Description:‬

‭●‬ ‭Descriptions for each opportunity card are at the corner of the board, which is‬
‭available for everyone to read through.‬
‭●‬ ‭Plot for a stack of opportunity cards.‬
‭●‬ ‭A stack of blank cards working as the paintings.‬
‭●‬ ‭Sticky notes if needed.‬

‭Movement:‬

‭●‬ ‭Players move in the direction based on their dice number at the first roll.‬
‭●‬ ‭2 Dice rolls per player per turn - the sum for fortune; multiplex for fame.‬
‭○‬ ‭Several dice rolls per turn if theft happening - dice numbers from largest‬
‭to lowest would be the sequence for stealing.‬
‭●‬ ‭Each player can only choose at most one painting and one opportunity card.‬

‭Game Start:‬
‭●‬ ‭Every player rolls the two dice to decide their sequence, in the order from the‬
‭highest sum to the lowest.‬
‭○‬ ‭If two players score the same sum, then those players reroll until no ties.‬
‭●‬ ‭Starting from player 1, each player rolls 2 dice per term. Whereas the sum of the‬
‭2 dice will determine the value of the paintings (see‬‭‘Paintings’‬‭). After obtaining‬
‭the paintings, each player draws one opportunity card from the pile.‬
‭●‬ ‭Each player will have an extra 2 paintings in the very first round.‬
‭●‬ ‭The game continues until any player gains 100 points on their fortune.‬
‭●‬ ‭The winner is determined by the highest sum of fortune and fame.‬

‭Turns:‬

‭●‬ ‭Each player takes turns rolling two dice, drawing one opportunity card, making‬
‭decisions, and a final showcase.‬
‭●‬ ‭Players can make a declaration for reaching the end point before the first player‬
‭rolls dice for another turn.‬

‭Paintings:‬

‭●‬ ‭Will be the personal asset and final benchmark of the game.‬
‭●‬ ‭Players will have to write down the fortune and fame they got after they rolled‬
‭the dice.‬
‭●‬ ‭The value for fortune and fame provided by the paintings will be based on the 2‬
‭dice points rolled each term.‬
‭○‬ ‭Fortune: Calculated as the sum of the 2 dice;‬
‭○‬ ‭Fame: Calculated as the multiplex of the 2 dice.‬
‭●‬ ‭Paintings can be reused during the showcase phase, which will not be discarded‬
‭during the gameplay.‬
‭●‬ ‭Paintings can be moving around during the gameplay (ie, being stolen by other‬
‭players).‬
‭Opportunity Cards:‬

‭●‬ ‭There will be a total of 50 opportunity cards, containing four different‬


‭categories and use.‬
‭●‬ ‭The opportunity cards will be discarded after the player uses them.‬
‭●‬ ‭Creative block:‬
‭○‬ ‭5 cards in total;‬
‭○‬ ‭Seen as a painting, but allowing you not to be stolen from or involved in‬
‭rumors;‬
‭○‬ ‭The player using creative block can only have.‬
‭●‬ ‭Defense card:‬
‭○‬ ‭10 cards in total;‬
‭○‬ ‭Defense everything, including theft and rumors.‬
‭●‬ ‭Rumor card:‬
‭○‬ ‭20 cards in total;‬
‭○‬ ‭[Constraint] Battle with another player from your choice, the person you‬
‭chose cannot reject your battle;‬
‭○‬ ‭Players will be using the two dice to battle, and the player with the higher‬
‭sum of the two dice gets to pick the painting they like.‬
‭●‬ ‭Thief card:‬
‭○‬ ‭Must be shown to all players at the point when any player gets it. The‬
‭player can then hold the thief card back to their own;‬
‭○‬ ‭The player will be stealing from others based on the detailed descriptions‬
‭at the bottom of the card (ie, stealing from the second person on your‬
‭right). The detailed descriptions should be hidden from other players‬
‭when you first show your thief card (players can use anything to block‬
‭the description during their display, highly recommend using sticky‬
‭notes);‬
‭○‬ ‭A thief cannot steal from themselves but can steal from other thieves, if‬
‭the thief card indicates the thief themselves to be stealing from, the next‬
‭player in the same direction will be the one being stolen from. The thief‬
‭will also be stealing from the next player in the same direction if the‬
‭original target had a defense card for the turn;‬
‭○‬ ‭The descriptions for the thief card will remain unavailable to all players‬
‭until the theft players are decided;‬
‭○‬ ‭The players who failed to use the thief card can hold back their card for‬
‭future use.‬

‭Game End:‬

‭●‬ ‭The game ends when any of the players gains 100 points for their fortune.‬
‭●‬ ‭The player with the greatest sum for adding their fortune and fame together at‬
‭the end of the game is declared the winner, in the case where 2 or more players‬
‭have the same sum, the player with higher fame wins the game.‬
