INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

A warm, cozy living room filled with family photos. Azara, a middle-aged woman with a kind demeanor,
sits on the sofa, deep in thought. Her daughter who saw him sit alone in there just passed by without
saying goodbye when she leave.

AZARA

(whispering)

“What if...”

FLASHBACK:

EXT. PLAYGROUND - DAY (10 YEARS AGO)

Young Azara watches as her daughter, Fira, plays on the swings. However, suddenly an emergency call
came in that had to make Najib pick up his phone.

FIRA

“Ma, can you play a bit more with me, please?”

Her daughter grab her cloth and beg for her mother to play with her more.

AZARA

“This is important, can you just sit and stay silent in here?”

FIRA

“But Ma.. don’t leave me alone…”

She’s not response for her and just leave her there to pick her call up.

Suddenly, a different choice crosses her mind.

JASON

Azara in a business suit, working long hours, missing important moments with her family. The weight of
her decisions weighs heavily on her. being a single mother of 3 children is a big responsibility for her

Jason shakes off the alternate reality, refocusing on the present.

JASON

(whispering)

“What if I had prioritized family over career?”

FLASHBACK:

INT. KITCHEN - MORNING (5 YEARS AGO)

A scene of Azara spending quality time with Fira and Najib, and Iqist, over breakfast. The silent between
them and a clacking sound of the plate filled the room. Najib tried to make a conversation.

NAJIB

”Mom, I got a scholarship to the UK, isn’t that great?”

AZARA

“yeah, that’s great”

She answer it without any excitement added into her tone. Najib who hear that turned into silent not
wanting to talk anymore, same like the other.

JASON

(voiceover)

”What if I had valued these moments more?”

CUT TO:

INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT (PRESENT)

She sat down and found a newspaper on top of her drawer which was a sad news story about an
accident that happened 10 years ago. She cried remembering what happened to her family back then.
FLASHBACK

NIGHT BUSWAY – (10 YEARS AGO)

Iqist called her mother few times but didn’t get any answer from her. Finall, at the last attempted she
picked up the call. But her responses make iqist feel bad to have call her.

IQIST

“mom, can you please pick me at the busway? Its raining hard in here”

AZARA

“Did you really have to call me?! Just call your brother, I’m still busy can’t you understand?!”

IQIST

“They-” Before he can continue, the phone call has ended unilaterally.

That night, Iqist got into a crash with a motorcycle gangster and died on the place.

AZARA

“Im sorry…I’m really sorry..i souldn’t have to ended that phone call that day..”

She’s crying while holding Iqist photo on her hand.

“if I pick you up that day… so that they must didn’t have to hate me this much..”
