Description:

Cargo Services is one of the leading Rail Car service providers to the global rail industry with the
fleet of 2,00,000 railcars and 1,60,000 Intermodels operating from Detroit, North America.

Cargo Services provides customized solutions and a variety of leases to meet customer's short
and long term financial needs. Its fleet includes covered Hopper cars, Tank cars, Boxcars,
Gondola type cars and Coal cars for a broad range of industries, including
petrochemicals/chemicals, agriculture and Railroads.

Cargo Data Warehouse System is an enterprise Data Warehouse, which will act as a
comprehensive decision support, analytical system to manage its changing Business
requirements and achieving Cargo Services business philosophy.

Responsibilities:

· Involved in Shop, Repair Billing and Phase-I Universes development

· Created daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the management team.

Description:

HSBC and HouseHold International Inc is one of the leading groups of companies working
together, providing Banking services like mortgage and loans, financial services. The operational
data of different financial departments is loaded into a central Data Warehouse and formed out to
different regional data marts.

Operational data is extracted from source databases, transformed, aggregated and loaded in to
Data warehouse periodically. Informatica is used as an ETL tool to perform data loads. The
various corporate metrics/web reports like Credit Profile, customer profile, loans profile, Product
Profile, Funds Transfer etc…are generated periodically using business objects as an OLAP tool.

Environment: Business Objects tools (Supervisor, Designer and Business Object-Reporter),

Oracle 8i and Windows NT/2000.

Responsibilities:

As a BO Developer:

· Involved in creating Universes, Classes and objects using Business objects Designer.
· Created Contexts, Joins and Aliases for resolving Loops.
· Designed, developed and tested the reports based upon data generated by enterprise
transaction, financial, and customer information systems using Business Objects 5.1 connected to
Oracle 8i data source.
· Used the Drill Down/Up function to analyze data
· Used alerts, filters, and sorts in the reports
· Created reports using Business Objects functionalities like queries, slice and dice, drill
down, cross tab, master detail reports, formulas, etc.
· Involved in System Testing and UAT
· Support for Production Deployment.

extracting data from operational data sources, involved in universe development and corporate
reports for Business analysts.
