1) The petitioners filed a writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus to direct respondents 1-3 to consider the petitioners' applications for regularization of land dated 27.6.2008 and 1.10.2008 in accordance with a government order.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief:
“…..to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in
the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents 1, 2 and 3 in disposing the applications of the petitioners filed on 27.6.2008 and 1.10.2008 vide File Nos.(1) 12/15310/08, (2)12/17581/08, (3)12/17582/08 and (4)12/17290/08 for regularization in respect of the land in Sy.No.102/1 of Hakimpet Village Hyderabad District, corresponding to T.S. No.5, Block “J”, Ward 12 of Hakimpet Village, Shaikpet Tahsil, Hyderabad District in terms of G.O.Ms.No.166, Revenue (Assn.POT) Department dt.16.2.2008 as illegal, arbitrary, void ab-initio and violative of Article 14 of Constitution of India and principles of natural justice and this Honble Court may be pleased to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the applications filed by the petitioners dt.27.6.2008 and 1.10.2008 vide File Nos.(1)12/15310/08, (2)12/17581/08, (3)12/17582/08 and (4)12/17290/08 for regularization in respect of the land in Sy.No.102/1 of Hakimpet Village Hyderabad District, corresponding to T.S. No.5, Block “J”, Ward 12 of Hakimpet Village, Shaikpet Tahsil, Hyderabad District in terms of G.O.Ms.No.166, Revenue (Assn.POT) Department dt.16.2.2008, dispose off the matter by passing appropriate orders in respect of the claim of the petitioners in respect of their lands.
2. Heard Sri J.Ashvani Kumar, learned counsel for the
petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for
Revenue appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 4.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that
petitioners are the legal heirs of late M.Balaiah, who was in
possession and enjoyment of land to an extent of Ac.5.00
gts. in Sy.No.102/1 of Hakimpet Village corresponding
T.S.No.5, Block “J””, Ward 12 of Hakimpet Village, Shaikpet
Tahsil, Hyderabad District in terms of G.O.Ms.No.166,
Revenue(Assn.POT) Department, dated 16.02.2008. He also
submits that pursuant to the said G.O., petitioners have
submitted applications dated 27.06.2008 and 01.10.2008 to
respondents requesting them to regularise the above said
land and respondents have not taken any steps, At this
stage, petitioners have approached this Court and filed the
present Writ Petition.
4. After perusal of the record it reveals that this Court
while admitting the Writ Petition on 24.09.2009, granted
interim direction in W.P.M.P.No.26936 of 2009 directing
respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider the applications
submitted by petitioners on 27.06.2008 and 01.10.2008, in
terms of G.O.Ms.No.166, dated 16.02.2008. Inspite of the
same, respondent Nos.1 to 3 have not considered the
applications submitted by the petitioners till date.

5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that
respondent Nos.1 to 3 will consider the applications submitted
by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders, if not already
considered and requested this Court to grant a reasonable time.
6. In view of the above submissions, without going into
the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to
dispose of the Writ Petition, directing respondent Nos.1 to 3
to consider the applications submitted by the petitioners
dated 27.06.2008 and 01.10.2008 and pass appropriate
orders in accordance with law within a period of two (02)
months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, if not
already considered.
7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is
disposed of. No costs.
