force in India's streaming landscape. The platform officially launched in April 2020, leveraging
Hotstar's established market presence and Disney's extensive content library. This strategic
alliance not only introduced Indian audiences to Disney's iconic characters and franchises but
also enhanced Hotstar's offerings with a vast array of international content. The rebranding to
Disney+ Hotstar marked a significant shift, combining the best of both platforms to provide
users with a diverse entertainment experience.One of Disney+ Hotstar's key success factors
lies in its content strategy. The platform offers a rich library encompassing Disney classics,
Marvel superhero films, Pixar animations, Star Wars series, and original Hotstar productions.
Recognizing India's linguistic diversity, Disney+ Hotstar also curates a wide selection of
regional content in languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. This localization
strategy has been pivotal in capturing diverse audience segments across the country.Original
productions have been a cornerstone of Disney+ Hotstar's growth. The platform invested
heavily in creating exclusive shows like "The Mandalorian" and "WandaVision," which not
only attracted subscribers but also garnered critical acclaim. Additionally, securing exclusive
streaming rights for major sporting events, such as the Indian Premier League (IPL), proved

PROBLEM STATEMET

Disney plus hotstar is a dynamic online video streaming platform , regional content availability
depending on the user’s location.There is a limited availability of user data.Unlike other
streaming platform and social media ,Disney plus hotstar may not provide access to much user
data ,such as watch time. There is a restricted degree of commitment and level of interaction
of the subscribers with this platform.There is no clear documentation from the platform
services.
ABSTRACTION

This data analysis project focuses on understanding user engagement and content references
with in the Disney plus hotstar platform.The primary objectives include analyzing viewership
patterns identifying popular content genres,and exploring factors influencing user
retention.This project aims to analyze user content consumption and look into the strategic
decision making. To inspect aggregated reviewership data,the degree of commitment and level
of interaction of subscribers . We define the objectives and scope of users data and identify the
relevant data sources which include users activity content. Outlining and conesive manner.
Determining the roles and responsibilities of team members involved in this project to ensures
effective collaboration and communication.
