Instruction for creating a lift plan for all Critical Lifts:


1. Has a Risk Assessment/JSA been carried out and communicated to all personnel involved in the task
2. Ensure the implications of the relevant risk assessment and the items listed in the Lifting Operations Checklist are
incorporated into the Lift Plan
3. Clearly identify the sequence of steps that allows the lifting operation to be carried out safely, (Adding sketches and
photographs in sections that required)
4. Approve the Lift Plan prior to the lift commencing by Crew
5. Site Supervisor for the affected PSL/SF or Designated Lead Person, Qualified Crane Operator along with others involved with
the lift shall participate in risk assessment, assist with development of Critical Lift plan
6. Includes calculations and sketch in sections that required
