Katelyn’s Sentences:
1. The wind blew so strongly, that the mammoth tree shook.
2. The ball stood sternly, beside the swing.
3. The sandbox was filled with assorted toys.
4. There are some grey rocks around the playground.
5. The bench was covered with yellow-painted pieces of wood, and its legs
were red.
6. The slide was glistening.
7. There were different colours of shrubs / bushes.

Final Version:

The wind blew so strongly, that the mammoth tree shook. The ball stood sternly,
beside the swing. The sandbox was filled with assorted toys. There are some grey
rocks around the playground. The bench was covered with yellow-painted pieces
of wood, and its legs were red. The slide was glistening. There were different
colours of shrubs / bushes.

Mr. Persad’s Sentences:

I see a nice playground for children, nestled amongst the trees, with so many cool
features to play with!
I see a small black and white football, to the left of the playground.
I see a sandbox, with a brown bucket and a blue shovel.
The playground has a single swing, and a single long slide.
It has a ladder to get to the top of the slide, and its roof has a small blue flag at the
top.
There is a bench (for parents to sit and watch their children) to the right hand side
of the playground.
The playground has some nice big green trees behind it.
The sky above the playground seems to be clear and nice.
There are also a few rocks around the playground.

Final Version:
In the playground, I see a sandbox, with a brown bucket and a blue shovel, a
swing, and a long slide, with a ladder to get to the top, and its roof has a small blue
flag at the top. There are some nice big green trees behind it.
