Operation manual
The electronic generator generates electrical vibrations which are converted into ultrasound in the
piezoelectric transducer. Ultrasounds are sound waves with a frequency above 16 kHz, inaudible to the
human ear (different harmonic sounds can be heard during the operation of the ultrasonic cleaner). They
cause acoustic wind, radiation pressure and cavitation in the liquid. Cavitation consists in the formation
of very small vacuum bubbles in the liquid. Cavitations bubbles pulse and implode, which causes local
pressure of even several thousand atmospheres. In one cubic centimetre in 1 second, millions of shock
waves are produced, which tear off the surface the particles of dirt adhering to it. Acoustic wind causes
the liquid to mix. Ultrasounds go through metals and glass. Details with complex shapes, hard-to-reach
places, narrow gaps and holes with small diameters can only be well cleaned using ultrasound. So this is
the most effective cleaning technology. Increasing demands on surface cleanliness in industry and
medicine are causing changes in cleaning technology and the widespread use of ultrasonic equipment.
• In the printing industry for cleaning printing rollers, anilox tubes, cartridges and print heads.
• Washing laboratory glass - flasks, beakers, pipettes, capillaries, plates and slides for microscopic
preparations. A frequency of 40 kHz is recommended for cleaning laboratory glass.
• For cleaning surgical and dental instruments and dentures. Ultrasounds tear viruses and bacteria
apart.
• In laboratories for emulsions of unmixed liquids, fats, suspensions. Dispersion of solids in water,
homogenization of macromolecular compounds, degasification of solutions.
• In jewellery studios for cleaning products made: with polishing paste, from the remains of casting
masses, for cleaning dirty products, especially chains, bracelets. Only an ultrasonic cleaner will
wash out the dirt from the stone in a few seconds. If the eyelet is seated incorrectly, it may fall
out in the washer, which will reveal a seating error ( Do not use for cleaning of costume jewellery).
• In watchmaking studios for washing the watch mechanisms without dismantling. Washing in
petrol should be carried out in a closed jar inserted into washer. Ultrasounds go through glass and
metals.
• In precision mechanics plants for cleaning of small castings, moulds, drawing dies.
• In car repair shops for washing carburettors without complete disassembly. For cleaning of
carbon deposits, raids and dirt from parts and components.
Ultrasounds themselves, although they are very penetrating and have a lot of energy, do not wash in
water alone. A suitable water solution of the cleaning agent will moisten the surface and cause the
ultrasounds to remove the dirt without damaging the surface. The increasingly widespread use of
ultrasonic cleaning has led to the sale of various fluids. The use of special fluids will be most effective if
you follow the instructions for use and the recommendations of the manufacturer of the washer. The
selection of the cleaning solution depends on the type of contamination and the material of the object.
The same fluids are often used for ultrasonic cleaning as in traditional methods, but the concentration is
much lower.

The parts placed in the washer must not be larger than the usable dimensions of the baths. The
elements must not protrude beyond the working area of the bath.
During the cleaning process, the parts should be placed in the basket (the parts placed directly on or
near the ultrasonic panels muffle the ultrasound).
The device is made of acid-resistant steel (grade 304), excluding supporting structure, valves, pumps and
control elements.
The results of the measurements seems not exceed the limit value for an equivalent sound pressure
level related to an 8-hour working day in any of 1/3 octave band.
WARRING!
The device should work intermittently to avoid overheating (it is recommended to operate
intermittent).
Continuous ultrasound operation shortens the life of the ultrasonic cleaner due to cavitation pits.

1. Fill the bath by opening the filling valve (if provided) or pour the water directly into the bathtub
by hand through the loading hole.
2. Fill the bath with a suitable liquid, i. e. with a solution of detergent or water alone so that the
items to be washed will be completely immersed. Do not spill the liquid outside the tub.
Minimum liquid level due to heaters and transmitters - above the level sensor. Pour the liquid
directly into the bath through the loading hole.
The tub can be filled with washing concentrate directly into the chamber and mix there.
• NOTE: The unit is equipped with a level sensor and will not switch on if the bath liquid level
is below the sensor (blue float inside the bath). The red indicator light signals too low liquid
level.
• Before placing the parts in the bath, make sure that they do not cause the liquid to spill
outside the bath.
• The washing/rinsing efficiency decreases with the increase in the amount of items to be
cleaned.
WARRING! When using the ultrasonic cleaner, wear protective gloves against chemicals used for
washing and hot liquid. The temperature in the tubs can reach up to 80°C.
1. Place the parts in the basket. Then put the basket in the wash tub or put the roller on the
rollers.
2. Turn on the main power switch.
3. Set the desired temperature and wait for the bath to warm up (yellow indicator light goes out).
4. Activate the ultrasound for the required operating time by turning the knob to the right, or
activate continuous operation by turning the knob to the left. The washing time depends on
the amount of the parts to be cleaned. When the ultrasound is activated, it is indicated by a
green light.
5. If the bath is filled with fresh water, it must be degassed. For this purpose, the bath should be
heated to approx. 50-60˚C and activate the ultrasound for approx. 15-20 minutes before the
first wash.
6. After the washing, remove the washed parts using protective gloves. The bath can be used
repeatedly until the cleaning performance is noticeably reduced.

• Before daily use it is recommended to drain the bottom sediment from the washing tank. Sludge
is accumulated in the vicinity of the drain valve. It is recommended to open the valve for a short
period of time in order to get rid of the accumulated sludge. This will allow you to use the same
bath for a longer time. Please remember to refill the water and cleaning concentrate according to
the amount of liquid discharged.
• Make sure that there are no leaks from the unit or visual damage, and if any defects are noted,
refrain from further work and report them to the relevant services.
Please consider the possibility of the loss of liquid while using the unit, because the hot liquid will
evaporate. Liquid loss will increase with the number of washing cycles (some liquid also remains on the
surface of the washed parts).
1. If the washer will not be used for any longer time, it is recommended to disconnect the power
cord.
2. Drain the bath from the tub and recycle liquid according to the safety data sheet.
3. Close the lid.

For cleaning ATO LAB/ATO LAB+ parts, we recommend using TICKOPUR TR 3 as a cleaning agent.
However, it is not the only cleaning agent that is suitable for cleaning ATO parts. Mixtures with similar
composition would be suitable too. As 3D LAB, we recommend using TR 3 because we use it as well.
Safety Data Sheet for TICKOPUR TR 3 is in attachments to this instruction.
1. Before putting the ATO parts into the wash tub, prepare the proper bath first. If using TICKOPUR
TR 3 as washing agent, its concentration must be between 3% and 5%.
2. If the bath is filled with fresh solution, it must be degassed. For this the bath should be heated to
approximate 50-60˚C and activate the ultrasound for approximate 15-20 minutes before the first
wash.
3. Place the parts in the basket. Put the basket in the wash.
4. Turn on the main power switch.
5. Set the temperature to 55 ˚C and wait for the bath to warm up (yellow indicator light goes out)
6. Activate the ultrasound for 20 minutes by turning the knob to the right. When the ultrasound is
