by QC lot. The system performs the QC
measurement using the first QC lot loaded. The
system does not process any further QC lots for
the same QC material in the same run.

Quick reference: cobas e flow HIV Duo

A cobas e flow duo test is an independent measurement
of one parameter using different tests: HIV Ag and anti-
HIV.

Each test will be calibrated separately. Based on the

respective calibration, the ratio of signal/cutoff (i.e., the
cutoff index, COI) will be calculated when measuring
samples.

The tests HIV Ag and anti-HIV can only be ordered

together as HIV Duo cobas e flow test. After
measurement, the system calculates a common HIV Duo
result based on the HIV Ag and anti-HIV single test
results.
