A: Pour forth, we beseech you, O Lord, your grace into
our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ,

Angel. May by His passion and cross, be brought to the
glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ, our
Lord, Amen.

I. Opening Hymn – Hymn to Love (Page 2)
Love is big-hearted and kind. Love is not
jealous nor boastful; it does not look
down on others.
Love is not rude nor is it selfish; love
shows no anger, it does not keep track of
offenses.
Love does not connive with injustice but
rejoices in the truth.
Love gives the benefit of the doubt, it
always remains steadfast; you can rely on
love.
Prophecies will lose their relevance, the
gift of tongues will fall in disuse, even
wisdom herself might cease to exist.
What, then, will remain? These three:
faith, hope, and love. And of the three,
the most precious, of course is love.

II. Introduction
Good morning, friends in Christ. Today is September
13, Wednesday of the 23 rd week of the year. Today, we
remember Saint John Chrysostom, Bishop, and Doctor
of the Church.
known for his preaching and public speaking, his
denunciation of abuse of authority by both
ecclesiastical and political leaders, his Divine Liturgy,
and his ascetic sensibilities.
III. Morning Offering (Page 3)
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer
you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day
in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
throughout the world. I offer them for all the
intentions of your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls,
reparation for sin, and the reunion of all Christians. I
offer them for the intentions of our bishops, and of all
Apostles of Prayer, and in particular, for those
recommended by our Holy Father this month of
September, For People Living on the Margins. We
pray for those persons living on the margins of the
society, in inhumane life conditions; may they not be
overlooked by institutions and never considered of
less importance.
IV. Psalm (Page 10)
Antiphon: The just are protected by the Lord, he
guides their way into honesty.
1. The just are like trees that grow beside a
stream, sinking their roots into rich soil.
2. They stay always in bloom and bear fruit in
due season.
1. But evil men are like dust, blown by the wind
into a dirty cloud.
2. Like dry, fallen leaves, rattling around and
around in the evening.
1. Evil men are on the way to their doom their
own malice will turn against them.
2. The fowler will be trapped in the snare he laid;
the plotter will drink the cup he laced with
poison.
1. But the Lord, who is compassionate, will show
sinners the path they should follow.
2. He who is all holy, will lead them to repent.
1. Turn away from evil and do good, and the Lord
will bless you.
2. Strive for peace with all your heart, and He
will be pleased with you.

On another occasion, Jesus began to teach by the sea.

bar fruit unless it remains united to the vine. Remain
united to me that you may bear much fruit. I love you
just as the Father loves me: remain in my love.

God has granted us the joy of praising him during this

day. Let us now present to him our prayers and say:
Lord, hear our prayer.

 May our eyes and our ears remain always

attentive to you, Lord, that we may recognize
your will over us and answer quickly when you
call. Lord, hear our prayer.
 Lord Jesus, you won peace for the world y
shedding your blood on the cross, let the
victory of the cross shine on all nations in the
world. Lord, hear our prayer.
 Save your people, Lord, and bless the Church
that you have established to continue your
mission on earth. Lord, hear our prayer.
 Open the hearts of the prosperous to the
needs of the poor and the suffering. Lord,
hear our prayer.
 Grant families the love which makes it
possible to surmount all difficulties. Lord,
hear our prayer.
