ILB3210 - 2W Ka-band Interactive LNB - Datasheet Description

2 Description
The ILB3210 is a cost-efficient 2W Ka-band interactive LNB with support for non-exclusive Ka-band and
support for polarization selection.

There are two versions: The ILB3210 can be mounted on Newtec’s ANT2010 75cm Ku/Ka-band antenna
and the ANT2025 100cm Ku/Ka-band antenna.

100cm ANT2025 ILB3210

Table 1: ILB3210 terminal configurations

The ILB3210 is used in combination with Newtec’s MDM2010 broadband access modem. The
combination ILB3210 iLNB, ANT2010/ANT2025 antenna and MDM2010 modem is referred to as a
SAT2010 terminal. The SAT2010 terminals are used with the Newtec Dialog platform. The ILB3210
requires only one coax cable from the modem for both RX and TX.

The ILB3210 covers wide frequency ranges in receive (17.7 to 20.2 GHz) and transmit (29.0 to 30 GHz).
The linear upconverter provides a frequency conversion from an IF range of 2750-3000 MHz, to an RF
output range of 29 to 30 GHz.

The ILB3210 supports both left-handed and right-handed circular polarization in both transmit and
receive. Receive and transmit polarization are always orthogonal and can be set by a simple mechanical
operation.
