4. Procedures
4.1.a Warm Up Song
The class will sing the song entitled, “If You’re Happy & You know It”
4.1.c. Review
Proper way of writing a sentence (capitalization and punctuation mark)
4.2.a Motivation:
The teacher will show a picture of a fairy her magic wand and let the students
say what they see and express their ideas about fairies.

4.2.c. Group Response (diagnostic assessment)
The teacher will present again the sentences from the story written in strips of
cartolina. The group 1 will read the sentence and the group 2 will identify
whether the given statement happens in real life or not and vice versa.
The teacher will classify the sentences in their correct column and will let the
students to give the definition of reality and fantasy.

Analysis
REALITY – are things that exist in real life. These are situations or events that
could happen in real life.
FANTASY – are things that do not exist in real life. These are situations or
events that are impossible to happen in real life.
The teacher will let the students give the importance of studying through these
questions. (HOTS Questions)
What is the reason why Mario got punished? He is very lazy in studying.
If you will be like Mario in your whole life, what will happen to
you in the future?
We will not be successful; other answers depend on students’ ideas
What is your dream in life? Do you think your dreams will happen

Each student will be given a happy and sad emoji. The teacher will show
sentences and the students will raise the happy emoji if the given sentence is an
example of reality and will raise the sad emoji if the given sentence is an
example of fantasy
There are puzzled pictures in the table. They should able to put the pictures
together and make a sentence for each picture.

They will watch a music video entitled, “Jobs in the Community”. The video is
about jobs or occupation and the students should be able to make 3 sentences
from the song.
Direction: On the blank, write REALITY if the given sentence happens in real
Life. Write FANTASY if the given statement does not happen in real life.
4.7 On your assignment notebook, list 5 example sentences of reality and 5 example
Assignment sentences of Fantasy.
