Lessons Learned Purpose and Objectives
Throughout each project life cycle, lessons are learned and opportunities for improvement are discovered.
As part of a continuous improvement process, documenting lessons learned helps the project team
discover the root causes of problems that occurred and avoid those problems in later project stages or
future projects.
The objective of this report is gathering all relevant information for better planning of later project stages
and of future projects of a similar nature, e.g. to improve the quality of implementation and preventing or
minimizing risks.

For future projects, we will ensure that everything is done to detect potential problems from early on so
that these can be factored into the planning and appropriate risk mitigation strategies developed.
The following outlines the measures that will be taken during the assessment and planning phase:
The main point here is that any issues or conditions that the client is aware of that can potentially affect
the progress of any project activities must be declared upfront. We should not take it for granted or
assumed that the system resources are adequate for the required tasks. The Fujitsu/Vendor team must
ensure that we conduct the necessary tests / assessments to know exactly what the existing/potential
risks are and take proactive measures to mitigate against them.
